Project Description:This 5 ½ foot piece was carved from a dead and partially hollow Camperdown Elm. It was intended to be just a Woodspirit in deep relief, but it was a joy to carve and became an experiment with deep relief, in the round and shallow relief. It was finished with double boiled lindseed oil. It is now part of my personal collection.
